It won't happen. Herry paints loosely, wet on wet, and this type of painting is ideal for him eliminating extraneous details, and closing in on his subjects. Unlike many new watercolour artists, Herry isn't afraid to include people in his works. Because of this his works are filled with energy and human vitality. Herry is an eclectic artist and he eagerly paints, still lifes, landscapes and urban scenes.

But, it seems to me that Herry's work comes to life when he paints his home city of Toronto. His delight of city scenes seems unlimited; be it street cars, ethnic neighbourhoods, busy sidewalks or boats in the harbour.
