Kafayat Oluwatoyin Ameh , better known by her stage name Kaffy , was born on June 30, She founded Imagneto Dance Company as well. Kaffy grew up in Lagos, Nigeria, where she was born. She then briefly attended Yaba College of Technology before earning a diploma in data processing and computer science from Olabisi Onabanjo University.

She grew up wanting to work as an aeronautical engineer. Although she was born into riches, by the time she was 11, her parents had separated, and she had lived in hardship for a period.
